Three hands resemble discarded gloves, their interiors hollowed out—stripped of muscles and sinews, leaving only a thin, slack envelope of skin. They overlap and press against one another: one hand bears down with a heavy, dominating weight, another struggles beneath to support or resist, while a third curls at the side, its edges melting and collapsing as if eroded by time and gravity. The artist employs an extraordinarily fine texture to simulate the wrinkles, sagging, and drooping of aged skin; the curves of fingertips and the hollows of palms are etched with marks of exhaustion and decay. The overall form evokes both a bloodless wrestling match and a ritual of self‑dissolution. These shell‑like hands are at once oppressor and oppressed, silently articulating the fragility of power, memory, and the flesh.
