The artist replaces traditional antlers with several upward-opening, layered human palms—these hands stretch toward the sky, fingertips slightly curved, as if performing a ritual of supplication, listening, or dialogue with the universe and the divine. In stark contrast, the facial expression remains extremely serene and transcendent, bearing the compassion and benevolence of Eastern Buddhist statues. The slightly drooping eyelids and a faint, elusive smile create a powerful tension between motion and stillness, extroversion and introversion, set against the dramatic hands above. The artist’s signature fine fingerprint-like textures flow like water over the surface, breaking the coldness of metal and imbuing the work with a sense of breath and heartbeat.
